Nachhilfe liegt mir besonders, weil ich im Einzelkontakt wirklich auf den Menschen vor mir eingehen kann. Jede(r) bringt eigene Fragen, Stärken und Unsicherheiten mit – deshalb passe ich die Nachhilfe an Persönlichkeit und Bedürfnisse an. I finished school in Russia in June 1982 with the certificate and some experience of working as a tour guide for the English-speaking tourists and translator.
I entered the Leningrad State University in summer 1982 and studied science there for half a year.
From January to June 1983 I worked as a library assistant.
In summer 1983 I started to study History in the Leningrad State University and completed a five-year course there (degree awarded in June 1988).

I came to the UK and started working for a Russian oil company in London where I was involved with translations. I then worked as a translator for the Bank of England.
I co-wrote a book a book in 1998 called "Talk Russian" for the BBC which was used to support a Russian language programme that they were presenting.
I commenced working in the education sector in the UK in 1998 when I was engaged as a preparatory school teacher in an independent Prep school in Essex, where I continued until 2004.
Since 1998 I have undertaken a number of tutoring assignments privately teaching Russian language.

I believe that students should not realise what a hard job they are doing. So I try to use as many games, films, role-plays and discussions as possible.
